Job Assigned Users as sender in submission automation emails

BH Automation

When building a submission-based automation, you can now choose "Job Assigned Users" as the sender for both email and screener steps, so outreach reaches candidates from the user actually working the role. If the assigned user is unavailable or the field is empty, the automation automatically falls back to the candidate owner as the sender.

What's New?

When building a submission-based automation, you can now choose "Job Assigned Users" as the sender for both email and screener steps, so outreach reaches candidates from the user actually working the role. If the assigned user is unavailable or the field is empty, the automation automatically falls back to the candidate owner as the sender.

Why Does It Matter?

Candidates applying through job boards often receive automated messages that appear to come from a generic system account rather than a real person, which can hurt response rates and the overall candidate experience. This update lets recruiters send personalized, human-feeling outreach at scale without manual intervention, helping staffing firms make a stronger first impression with every applicant.

How do I enable this?

This is enabled by default when Job Assigned Users (or the "assignments" field in the ATS) is selected as a synced field.
